Drug Policy

General Statement: It is unlawful to distribute, manufacture, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance.

1. Drug use prior to responding to calls is unacceptable, in that it can be dangerous to volunteers, victims and the community.

2. Casa Loma Volunteer Fire Association's policy of maintaining a drug-free response team will be enforced.

3. Counseling and rehabilitation are not available through the CLVFA.

4. Any volunteer noted for drug abuse violations will be advised to seek counseling and rehabilitation, and future participation in CLVFA will require Board approval.
